The Exorcism of Emily Rose

Wow, a dark religious thriller mixed with a courtroom drama. Is it all that shocking that the movie is a total bore? Sure it features some disturbing images (Emily bending backwards at the waist nearly folding herself in half) and some decent scares, but it's not scary and it's not involving. It's a TV movie made with a big budget and nothing more. Laura Linney and the rest of the fine cast are wasted in this tripe.
