Tony
Scott is getting weird in his old age. He's not toning down his style as he
gets older, he's amping it up. So much so that it's going to cause seizures
in some people. Partially based on the life of model-turned-bounty hunter
Domino Harvey, Kiera Knightley plays the titular role with aplomb right alongside
the awesome Mickey Rourke, but the plot gets mired down in the trippy visual
stylings and non-stop quick edits that it became quite a chore to sit through.
I thought this style of filmmaking worked in Scott's last film, Man on Fire,
but here it's overdone and becomes the only thing that I really remember of it
after watching it last weekend. There's not much to say other than it's a dream
come true for folks with ADD.
