Hoodwinked

This CG-animated film takes the plot of Roshomon and throws fairy tale characters into the main roles. While it's a clever idea it's never truly milked for all it could have been. Little Red Riding Hood, her Grandmother, the Big Bad Wolf and a schnitzel selling lumberjack all get involved in a plot to take over the countryside, and we get to see each of their versions of the story over the course of the movie. The voice acting is decent (Patrick Warburton's Big Bad Wolf and the hyperactive squirrel), but it drags and it's not particularly funny for long stretches. The animation is pretty crappy as well. Still, it has its moments as few and far between as they are. "Dee-No-Me-Tay!"
